I found this article very interesting. It was right to the point of your topic. The main point I found interesting about this article was that you laid out the album that this man made putting all the songs and talking about how most of it was recorded in South Africa and was recorded with natives of the land.
ReplyDeleteWhile I love the album, I had never before known that part of it was recorded in South Africa. Personally, my favorite Paul Simon music is when he sang with Art Garfunkel, but it's great that he incorporated South African musicians into Graceland had it win album of the year in the process.
ReplyDeleteThis article was very informative and interesting. I believe that you took the right step to put some infor out before you gave any more of your personal opinions to it. It is important to put some basice info so that we understanf the topic better, which you did. I love this topic because it is somehting very new to me.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting. I like the track listing because i recognize a couple of the names. I found it pretty interesting that the year after Graceland (the song) came out, It won the grammy for best record when typically you would get it the year that it is released. It was well-written and i like the topic of music.
